Robert Prince joined his Savior on March 9, 2009. Born September 14, 1927, he served his country during World War II and worked for Ford Motor Company for 43 years. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Carol; his children Pam and Lloyd, Fred and Teri, Beth and Jon, Rob and Karla; and eight grandchildren….but most importantly he left behind a legacy. He loved unconditionally, served others devotedly, and followed the will of God unwaveringly; all the while teaching grand-kids how to bear hunt in the suburbs of Detroit, how to escape the grip of the human knot, and most importantly how to eat quickly; you know "every time you talk you miss a bite". His testimony was inspiring, his faith uncompromising, and his love for Christ was indescribable. We will love and miss you, and we know you'll think "that's nice." Visitation will be Wednesday, March 11 from 5-9 pm at R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, Garden City. Bob will lie in state one hour preceding the Home Going service on Thursday, March 12 at 11:00 am at the Plymouth Church of the Nazarene, 45801 W. Ann Arbor Rd, Plymouth, Michigan. Funeral Home: R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Services-G.C. 31551 Ford Rd. Garden City, MI US 48135
