Robert Parks

Robert A. Parks, of Livonia, age 69, passed away unexpectedly on January 1, 2025.

Beloved husband of Kathleen for 47 years.  Loving father of the late Steven Parks.  Brother of Ken (Peggy), Don (Betty) and Jennifer Parks.  Brother in law of Sue Modzelewski and Ellen McKaig.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Bob thoroughly loved nature. He, Steve and his friends spent  many summers boating, fishing, camping, going to MIS and, their Thanksgiving day Lions game tailgate, which included a full turkey dinner, was epic. Bob and Steve traveled to Texas where they caught gigantic fish in Galveston Bay. He cruised the Caribbean with the Little League gang who developed into lifelong friends. He later traveled to Mexico, Punta Cana, and Jamaica. His life was a life well lived.

Bob will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers a donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or a charity of your choice is appreciated.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
