Grace Szparaga

Grace Szparaga, of Redford, age 96, passed away peacefully at her home on October 10, 2023.

Beloved wife of the late Edward Szparaga.  Loving mother of Karen (Mike Halonen) Wertman and the late Kenneth and Beverly Szparaga.  Daughter of the late Louis and Helen Vance.  Sister of the late Sophia (Greg) Papp, Mary (Roland) O'Brien, Victoria (Jim) Martin, Anne (Jim) McAlister, Joseph (Nell) Vance and Florence Vance.  Step grandmother of Angie (Jaime) Nicolau, Eric and Mark (the late Caron) Yarnevich.  Step great grandmother of Brianne and Stefanie.  Step great great grandmother of Alexis.  Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews as well as many dear friends and neighbors.  Especially her niece Mary Mack for her caregiving services over the many years. Grace will truly be missed

A visitation will be held at the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Rd., Livonia, Saturday, October 21, 2023 from 11:00 AM until her Memorial Service at 1:00 PM.
