Winifred Redington

Winifred "Nancy" Redington passed away April 26, 2011, surrounded by the family she loved so much. Nancy leaves her husband of 48 years, Edward Richard "Dick"; son Kevin (Helene) Redington; daughters Kelly (Dan) O'Neil and Kathleen (Steve) Grobbel; and 10 beloved grandchildren. Nancy loved spending time with her family, Michigan football, wintering in Florida and spreading the word that there was nothing better than being Irish. Nancy is also survived by her sisters Sally (George) Kelly and Kay Wynne; brother Martin (Mary) Hegarty; and sister-in-law Patricia Hegarty. She was preceded in death by her sisters Rose and Patricia; and brother Tom. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday at 10am (instate at 9:30am) at St. Priscilla Catholic Church, 19120 Purlingbrook, Livonia. Visitation Friday from 2-9pm at the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Rd., Livonia. The family suggests donations to Homes for Autism in Birmington, MI or Beaumont Foundation - Pediatric Toy Fund in Troy, MI.
