William J. Sandzik, Jr.

William J. Sandzik, Jr. (Bill) Age 75 William was a 36-year resident of Garden City, Michigan, passed away June 24, 2017. A private memorial service will be held at a later date for family and close friends to celebrate his life. Born in Detroit April 10, 1942, Bill was an engineering illustrator at Ford Motor Company for 39 years. His talent and early understanding of computer illustration earned him the position of Group Leader at Ford. He also served for many years as the UAW Union Steward for Local 1970. Bill is survived by his wife of 37 years, Debra Ann Sandzik; his two sons, Luke Sandzik (his wife, Beth, and grandchildren, Katie and Jacob) and Marcus J. Sandzik (his wife, Tracie Ann, and grandchildren, Hanna Marie, Maxwell Henry, Benjamin Todd); his stepson, Damien Millen; and his brother, James Sandzik (and his wife, Deanna). Bill is preceded in death by his parents, William J. Sandzik, Sr. and Evelyn Marie (King) Sandzik. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the Alzheimer's Association in his name.
