Wilhelm Bohle

Wilhelm (Bill) F Bohle, 87, of Livonia, MI went home to be with the lord, October 17, 2021. Wilhelm was born October 9, 1934, in Detroit, MI, the son of Erdman Bohle and Elfredia Press. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Joan; daughter, Elizabeth Hamilton (Randy), daughter Deborah Sharp (Steve) and son, Patrick Bohle; nine grandchildren; Katie Zander (Sean), Joseph Hamilton (Linay), Heidi Hamilton, Hannah Hamilton, Elizabeth Hamilton, Nathan Hamilton, Robert Sharp (Jenny), James Sharp (Jennifer), Joanne Sharp; one great granddaughter, Eden Zander. He enjoyed softball, bowling, golf, and birdwatching. Bill retired from the Detroit Police Department, after 34 years, as a Patrolman, Detective, Sergeant Patrol Supervisor and Timekeeper. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Temple 47 years, where he served as Deacon, Trustee, Greeter and Faithful Servant. A Visitation will be held at the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Rd, Livonia Thursday, October 21, 2021 from 4 – 8 pm and at Bethel Baptist Temple, 29475 Six Mile Rd, Livonia Friday, October 22, 2021 from 10 am until his Funeral Service at 11 am.
