Wilbur McGlynn On Wednesday, March 3, 2021, Wilbur James McGlynn passed away peacefully at the age of 95. Wilbur was born on November 4, 1925 in Detroit, Michigan. He graduated from St. Bernard's High School in Detroit and served as a proud Marine during WWII on Iwo Jima, Volcano Island and in the Occupation of Japan. He worked for the U.S, Army Tank-Automotive Command in Warren, Michigan as a computer systems analyst. Wilbur married and had four children, Kathleen, James, Kevin (Debbie) and Kenneth (Kathy). He was blessed with two beautiful granddaughers, Shannon and Jessica. He was looking forward to being a great-grandfather . Wilbur loved traveling, fast-pitched ball and afternoons watching football. Wilbur is preceded in death by his wife, Doloris, his sister Francis, brothers Joseph and Leon. He is survived by his sister Estella. A Visitation will be held at the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Rd., Livonia, Sunday, March 7, 2021 from 1 - 5 PM. Instate at St. Aidan Catholic Church, 17500 Farmington Rd., Livonia Monday, March 8, 2021 from 9 AM until his Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM. Visit www.saintaidanlivonia.org to view the service.
