Virgle Whitteaker

Virgle C. Whitteaker born February 7, 1915 in Baxter, TN and went home to be with his Lord and Savior on May 9, 2007 in Fairfield, CA. He was a long time resident of Livonia, MI. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Zora and 1 grandson, David. He is survived by 1 sister Beulah Maxwell of Cookeville, TN, 3 children Donald (Dorothy) Whitteaker of Fairfield CA, Gail Whitteaker (Cathy) of Edmore, MI and Norma (Martin) Wilder of Canton, MI., 9 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. He retired from Whitman & Barnes as a grinder operator in 1977. He pursued many things after retirement including construction and the cattle business in Bardwell TX. He was an avid gardener and loved working with his hands. He was a member of Merriman Road Baptist Church for 50 years. He will be truly missed by all who loved him and knew him.
