Winchell, Victor Keith

Victor Keith Winchell of Dearborn, passed away on December 16, 2022,

after battling increasing ill health for several years.

Victor was born on May 3, 1946 at Delray General Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.

He was predeceased by his father, Leslie Lyle Winchell, and his mother, Dorothy (nee Purchase) Winchell.

Victor was raised in Dearborn, Michigan.  After his graduation from high school, he joined the United States Air Force, serving from 1965 through 1969 as a missile systems analyst, and achieving the rank of sergeant.

Upon completing his military service, Victor had a long career at Chrysler Motors, ending that career as a quality control inspector.

Victor is survived by his sister Bette Van Pelt (and her husband, Jim Van Pelt), of Mesa, AZ; and by his brother, Kenny Winchell, of Tempe, AZ.  He is also survived by a group of long-time friends who were like family to him.
