Velretta K. Mish

Velretta Katherine Mish Age 95, of Livonia, Michigan, passed away September 4, 2017. Velretta was born in Monroe, North Carolina on December 9, 1921. She graduated from Nathan Lattauer Hospital, Gloversville, New Yourk as a registered nurse. She was married to Lloyd Mish on September 1, 1946. Velretta worked as a registered nurse for approximately 25 years. She enjoyed gardening, knitting and sewing. She also volunteered for a number of local civic groups. Velretta is survived by her two sons, Stan and Terrance; daughter in law Pamela; grandson Matthew and wife Debra, three great grandchildren, Hailey, Noah, and Ivy; sister Melva Beckett and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by Winona Boggs, Irma Pinto, Sylvia Hughes, Celeste Rasmussen, Helen Burns and Daniel Bowen. No service will be held.
