Valerie Kim Globish

Valerie (Val) Kim Globish, age 71, of Livonia, Michigan died February 20, 2025.

Val was born October 9, 1953 to Harold Covington House and Mary Jeanette House in Duluth, Minnesota. Val was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Joleen (Jay). She is survived by her husband Gary, her children Ryan, Jeffrey (Dana) and Lauren (Michael), her grandchildren Cameron, Brooks, Olive and Enzo, her siblings Pamela (Robert), Randall (Pamela), and Scott (Paty), and by her many nieces and nephews. Val lived with the utmost integrity. She was an honest, loving and caring person to everyone in her large extended family, as well as to her many friends, co-workers and anyone else who had the privilege of meeting her. Her greatest accomplishments were being a loving mother, wife and grandmother. Val was extremely proud of the family she raised. Her grandchildren were, without a doubt, her pride and joy. Some of her favorite pastimes included spending time with her grandchildren, going out with friends, playing cards or other games, decorating for holidays and special occasions, vacationing and volunteering to feed the homeless. Throughout her life Val always kept a positive outlook and believed that everyone should be treated equally with compassion and respect.

Visitation is Monday, February 24, 2025 at R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Road, Livonia, Michigan, from 1:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. A Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home at 10:00 AM until Val's Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m. with a luncheon to follow.
