Timothy "Tim" Seibert

Timothy J. Seibert, age 63, of Livonia, MI, died peacefully Tuesday, June 13 in the loving care of Angela Hospice. Loving husband of Patty, dear father of Erin & Joe.  Tim is cherished brother of Dan, Bill (Donna), David (Karen), Cathy, Rick (Kathy). Beloved uncle of many. Tim is predeceased by parents Roger & Joanne (Corrigan) Seibert and sisters Ann and Jean.

Tim was born in Defiance, Ohio and grew up in Fostoria, Ohio. He received his BS in Computer Science from Bowling Green State University. Tim was a talented guitarist, trombonist, & singer. He was popular at a number of karaoke establishments. He was an accomplished athlete, playing in college and afterward on several soccer and volleyball teams, winning several championships.

Tim loved watching Erin and Joe compete with their cross country and track teams in high school and at the college level.  Tim was an avid supporter of the cross country and track teams at Franklin High School, Madonna University & U of M of Dearborn. Tim volunteered for years at Gleaners Community Food Bank, Habitat for Humanity, and tutoring students in Detroit schools.  He volunteered with school theater groups as a set builder.  But what Tim loved the most was being with family and friends whether in good conversation, golfing, listening to or playing music, bowling, reciting movie lines or just enjoying a cold Labatt Blue. He enjoyed a 40+ year career in computer software design and development, serving as a mentor to many colleagues during that time. In his career and volunteer work, he made several lifelong friendships.
Tim will greatly be missed.

A Visitation will be held at the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Rd, Livonia on Monday, June 19, 2023 from 10:00 AM until his Funeral Service at 12:30 PM.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to either the V Foundation, https://www.v.org  or Angela Hospice, https://angelahospice.org. The V Foundation is a cancer foundation that was founded by the late Jimmy Valvano and was very important to Tim.  Angela Hospice provided exceptional love and care to Tim and his family during the last days of his life.
