Thelma Ruth Brown was born Dec 5,1927 in Vandalia, MI to Arney and Ina Richmond. She passed away peacefully on Dec 24, 2024 in Livonia, MI at the age of 97.
Thelma was married to Jack R Brown for 34 years and was a devoted and loving wife. She worked for many years and enjoyed her time at Kelly Services where she eventually retired. Thelma was a great cook and loved to travel and spend time with family and friends. She was a true animal lover and loved her dogs as if they were her children.
Thelma is survived by her nieces Jill (Scott) Lucas, Mary Ann Wilson, Nancy (Karl) Fuerste, Linda (Tom) Watson; nephews Jay (Rhonda) Richmond, Bill Wilson, Curtis Brown along with 5 great-nieces, 6 great-nephews, 4 great-great nieces, 6 great-great nephews and many cousins.
Graveside service will be held at St Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, IN on January 3, 2025 at 1:00pm EST.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations can be made in Thelma’s name to the Greater Detroit Agency for the Blind and Visually Impaired or the Cocker Nation Rescue of Michigan.
