Tadeusz Maksimowicz, 81 Beloved Husband, Father, Son, Brother, Friend & MORE Tadeusz Maksimowicz of Livonia, MI, age 81, unexpectedly passed due to medical complications at Providence Hospital in Southfield, MI on the afternoon of January 30, 2020. Born in Poland, he was a resident of MI for 50 years. Also known as Ted, he retired from his employment at General Motors after 30 years. He was the son of the late Marcin and Stanislawa (Kohanowski) Maksimowicz and the beloved husband of the late Janina (Klos) Maksimowicz, as well as a 25 year long partner of the late JoAnne Olds. Ted is survived by his beloved children, Mark (Stina) Maksimowicz, and Ania Maksimowicz . Grandson, Lukasz Maksimowicz, as well as several Godchildren, nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of Regina Gienieczko, Sophia Maksimowicz , Boleslawa Lisowski and the late Stephanie Lisowski and Henry Maksimowicz . He passed willingly and peacefully, in the arms of his beloved children. Ted touched many lives and brought many of us so much joy and love. And although missed dearly, he will NEVER be forgotten; but will forever be in our hearts. Just as Ted would want it: "Don't cry because it's over; smile because it happened". Visitation will be at the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Rd, Livonia, Sunday, February 2, from 2-6 PM with a Rosary Service at 4 PM. Instate at St. Sabina Catholic Church, 2555 Ann Arbor Trail, Dearborn Heights, Monday from 10:30 until his Funeral Service at 11:00. Interment will follow at St. Hedwig Cemetery, 23755 Military Rd., Dearborn Heights.
