Suzanne Dowden

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Suzanne Marie Dowden, beloved wife, mother,  grandmother and friend. Suzanne passed away on September 7th, leaving behind a legacy of love, compassion, and dedication.

Suzanne Marie Dowden is survived by her Husband William, her children Alex (Aaron), Victoria (Evan), Nicholas (Madison) and her grandchildren; Liam, Ozzy and Joslynn. Her memory will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Suzanne always placed family at the heart of her life. Her unwavering support and boundless love for her children and grandchildren were the cornerstones of her existence. She found immense joy in spending time at Grand Lake, a haven where she created countless treasured memories with her family over the past 30 years. Her creative spirit thrived through her passion for scrapbooking and crafts, which she enjoyed deeply alongside her sister and sister-in-law.

Her two huskies Loki and Sierra were more than pets; they were her loyal companions, providing her with companionship and joy throughout her life. Suzanne was known for her boundless love for her family, her infectious laugh, and her enormous heart.
She never forgot where she came from and never looked down on anyone. Her friends and family will remember her for always being ready to help lift others up, embodying a spirit of unwavering support and compassion.

When she loved someone, she did so with a depth and steadfastness that was both rare and remarkable. Her commitment to those she cared about was evident in every aspect of her life.

A service to honor her life and legacy will be held on Saturday September 28th at RG & GR Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Rd, Livonia. Visitation 1pm to 3pm and Service 3pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Susan G. Komen Foundation in her memory.

May her soul rest in peace, and may her legacy of love and kindness continue to inspire all who knew her.
