Sue Ann Hemphill

Sue Ann "Suzie" Hemphill, of Livonia, age 75, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2023.

Beloved wife of Gerald Hemphill for 44 years.  Dear  Mom (Aunt) to Donna (Jim) Barron.  Much loved Great Aunt of Daniel (Kayli) Imus, Samantha (Steve) Saenz, Chelsea (Donnie) Greenleaf. Loving Aunt Gigi to Oliver, Luke, Everly, Quinn, Brielle, and two more expected later this year.

Suzie was a good friend to many and loved having guests in her home for any reason or no reason! She always remembered special occasions by sending cards and notes, and enjoyed giving gifts (little “happies”) for special occasions and “just because”.

To know Suzie was to know she loved Jesus and followed Him faithfully from her teenage years until she finished her race here on earth. She was a longtime member of Berean Baptist Church in Livonia, and loved to help with decorating for weddings, showers, and ladies’ events.

A committal service will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly at 1pm on Tuesday July 18.

A memorial service will take place on Saturday July 29th at 11am, with visiting from 10am and a luncheon to follow at Berean Baptist Church in Livonia.
