Shirley Hill

Shirley Ann Hill, 96, passed away, October 13, 2022, at St .Mary’s Hospital surrounded by family. She was the wife of her beloved husband of 58 years, the late Henry “Bud” Hill. The center of Shirley’s life was her family, always providing them with her love, strength and comfort. Guided by her faith, she supported her friends, church and community with her time and talents. Born on March 27, 1926, in Detroit, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Lemroe and Helen Cole. She preceded in death by her sisters Arline Bone, Maxine Sargent and Betty Gagnon. Shirley is survived by her children Marsha (the late Gerald) Malec, Donna (Mike) Schwab and Thomas (Sue) Hill. Grandchildren Eric (Elizabeth) Schwab, Adam (Tabitha) Schwab, Hillary (Ian) McCormack, Caitlin (Alex Procaskey) Hill, Steven (Julianne) Hill and Nathaniel (Priya) Hill. Great-grandchildren Elizabeth Procaskey, Emma Schwab and Amelia Hill. Shirley was blessed to have a lifetime of celebrations with her extended family of nieces, nephews and their children. There will a Celebration of Life service for Shirley on Saturday, November 12. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM, with the Memorial Service at 12:00 noon at the Hilltop Church of the Nazarene, 21260 Haggerty Road, Northville, MI.
