Sharon Sloan

March 25, 1944 – March 3, 2023

Age 78, loving wife of Bernard “Doc” Sloan for 54 years. Dear Mother of son John (Lori), and daughters Lauree and Stacy. Beloved “Mimi” of Monica, Jake, and Vann Sloan. Ben, Josh and Sam York. Loving daughter of the late Estel and Lela Nichols.

Born and raised in Farmington Twp. Sharon graduated from Farmington High School Class of 1962, was a member of The National Honor Society, served on the student government counsel and was elected Honorary Mayor for the day in the City of Farmington.  Graduate of Lee College in Cleveland, TN, also a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. Following college, she was an executive engineering secretary at Michigan Bell Telephone from 1966-1971.

When Sharon and Doc were just starting out, she always supported his dreams of becoming an entrepreneur and played an integral role in the success of the business by working alongside him in the office.

Sharon’s fabulous warm and loving smile to everyone she encountered continually spread God’s love in everyone’s everyday life. Sharon lived a consistent and Godly Christian life since she was 12 years old. She never wavered or looked back; this world was never her home. Ever. She’s now in the loving arms of God, receiving her heavenly rewards and everlasting peace and joy.

A  Visitation will be held at the Hilltop Church, 21260 Haggerty Rd, Northville on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM and Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at 10:00 AM until her Funeral Service at Noon.
