Sharon A. Galindo

January 8, 1943 — December 24, 2021

Sharon Ann Galindo (Eby), resident of Livonia, Michigan went to be with the Lord December 24, 2021. Beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, she lived a lifetime of giving, spreading joy and touching lives wherever she went. Born January 8, 1943, in Detroit, Michigan, she attended Grace Hospital of Nursing and Wayne State University where she met her husband of 56 years, Raul. They settled in Livonia, Michigan where their son Stephen and daughters Kimberly and Michelle were born. Sharon worked 18 years part-time as a shift administrator. When her children started college, she became a unit manager of a 64-bed medical-oncology unit and a 14-bed short stay unit at St. Mary Hospital. She retired from nursing in 1997 the same year Raul retired as City Engineer of Livonia. Both were active in the Livonia Jaycees. Her absence is eminently apparent, and she will be dearly missed. She is survived by her husband, Raul of Livonia, Michigan; daughter, Kimberly Pustover and husband Keith of Holland, Michigan; son Stephen Galindo and wife Shelly of Northville, Michigan; daughter Michelle Soave and husband Dominic of Northville, Michigan; brother Richard Eby of Livonia, Michigan; brother Ross Eby of Garden City, Michigan; and 9 grandchildren, Reese, Faith and Grace Pustover, Haley, Logan and Hunter Galindo, and Olivia, Bella, and Dominic Soave. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at 11am (instate at 10am) at St. Edith Catholic Church, 15089 Newburgh Rd, Livonia, MI 48154 In remembrance of Sharon’s life, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, any charitable donations be made to The American Cancer Society in her name at www.cancer.org.
