Shain Evan Chmura

Shain Evan Chmura, 41, of Livonia, MI passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2018. Shain was by survived by his wife of 18 years, Kimberly DeLaney, children, Jenna and Alex Chmura; parents Linda & Joe Chmura of Waterford, MI; brother Jay Colunga, Down River, MI; sister, Marnie Appel, Virginia; brother Lance Chmura, Texas; as well as many neices and nephews. Shain was in the US Army from 1997 to 2001 stationed at Fort Drum in Watertown, NY; where he met Kimberly. He has been an Engineer for 10 years and worked for Harmen & Becker most of his career and loved his position there. Shain had a love for cars, woodworking, landscaping, and a great passion for knowledge: medicine, learning foreign languages and the outdoors. Shain will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at Orchard Grove Community Church, 850 Ladd Rd, Bldg. C., Walled Lake, MI 48390 on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at 11:00AM. Shain will be interred at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4220 Belford Road, Holly, MI 48442 on November 9, 2018 at 10:00 am. Flowers are a kind gesture; however, donations are greatly appreciated.
