Russell Huebner

Russell Edward Huebner. Age 95, went to be with the lord on September 1, 2020. Cherished son of Margaret and Edward Huebner. Beloved husband of the late Helen. Loving father of Susan and the late Norman. Grandfather of Karyn (Chad), Bethany (Phil) & Edward (Rachel). Great grandfather of Alexander, Isaiah, Noah, Natalie, Andrew, Gavin, Holly, Stella, Walter and Hobbs. Daughter In Law of Barbara Schippers. He was a WWII Veteran and Purple Heart recipient. He had stories to tell and he wrote a book about his memories of the time he spent in Europe during WWII. His family was his circle of life. He was a caretaker of the family and a very hard worker. He could repair anything as long as he had electrical tape. After moving to Gaylord, he drove a school bus for 17 years which he said was the most rewarding and Best job ever. He will be forever missed. A Visitation will be held at the R.G. & G. R. Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Rd, Livonia, 48154 on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM.
