Russell E. Harrison

Russell E. Harrison Age 90 June 4, 2006. Beloved husband of Marie. Loving father of Greg (Judy) and Ann (John). Dear grandfather of 6 and great-grandfather of 10. Prior to retirement in 1978 Russ was the Traffic and Safety Engineer of the Wayne County Road Commission. Previously he worked as a traffic engineer for the City of Detroit, the Detroit Department of Streets and Railways, the City of Kalamazoo and the National Safety Council. During World War II (1944-1945) Russ served in France working for the U.S. War Department as a technical advisor to the transportation corps and theater provost marshal on highway traffic operations and control. Funeral Service at St. Matthew’s United Methodist Church at 30900 Six Mile Road in Livonia on Monday, June 12 at 11 AM. Visitation immediately preceding service (10-11 AM) at the church.
