Ronald Jay Van Dyke

Ronald Jay Van Dyke, Age 66 of Rochester Hills. May 22, 2021. Beloved husband of Martha for 26 years. Loving father of Ryan James Van Dyke, Jacob William Van Dyke, Justin David Van Dyke and Mairi Margaret Van Dyke. Dear grandfather of Rosalyce Van Dyke. Ronald retired from Chrysler Corporation after 30 plus years as a lab technician. He was a proud former marathon runner. He also loved cars, taking photographs and taking vacations with his family. He was a loving, patient, forgiving, helpful, generous, and understanding father. He always had words of encouragement for his children when they were upset. Ronald always had a smile on his face and was so happy especially around his family. Ronald was a devoted believer in God and lead the psalm singing at church. Ronald will be missed greatly by his family and for his amazing pancakes. A Visitation will be held at the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Rd., Livonia, Wednesday, May 26, 2021 from 1 - 7 PM. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 12 Noon. Please share a memory of Ron on his Tribute Wall.
