Robin S. Dessoye Of Livonia, age 64, August 9, 2020. "Last week, our family lost a legend. After complications of a fearless two year battle of Melanoma, Robin Sue Dessoye passed away on August 9th, 2020, in the safety and embrace of her home and family. Robin was a loving sister, caring mother, and devoted wife, survived by her husband of 38 years Mark Dessoye, their sons Adam and Andrew Dessoye, grandchildren Logan and Chloe Dessoye, her siblings Rhonda Franklin and Richard Smither, sisters-in-law Lindsay Smither and Chris Kosal, nieces Joanna Sussman, Leah Utzman, Corinne Thompson, and Shana Smither. To Robin her task was to always make everyone around her feel included and loved, with a plate full of food and a smile on their face, she wasn’t satisfied until every person and pet was selflessly taken care of. Robin loved her work at the Target store on Haggerty in Livonia. In lieu of Robin’s requests, she will be cremated and no public service will be held. Instead a private gathering will be held at our family cottage, where we will celebrate her life and reunite her with her parents, Walter and Lorelei Smither.
