Robert Woodford Age 57, March 3, 2012. Beloved Husband of Karen. Loving father of Lisa (Jordan) Dollar, Candace, Michele and Kelsey. Dear grandfather of Callum Dollar. Son of Mary Ann Ryan. Son-in-law of Thomas and Barbara Budday. Brother of Margie, Rita, Frederick, Martin and Jeanne. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Robert John Woodford was born on July 6, 1954, the first of six children born to Frederick and Mary Ann Woodford. He was blessed to be part of a large extended family that was close-knit and loved having fun and being together. In his childhood years he began many friendships that lasted a lifetime. In 1972, he began working at Ford Motor Company and again his circle of lifelong friends grew. He married Karen Budday in 1982 and together they raised four beautiful daughters. His girls were the greatest joy of his life and nothing made him more proud then the beautiful women they grew up to become. He was also blessed to meet his first grandson, Callum. Bob had a great sense of humor and loved making people laugh. His creativity and imagination proved to make him a great father and good friend. He had an inventive mindset and was always working on bringing his latest great idea to life. He loved the outdoors, campfires, canoeing, music and singing. He was far from shy, loved being the center of attention, but always made sure everyone else was having a good time. He retired from Ford's after 30 years and enjoyed having more time to spend with family and friends, and to tinker in the garage. He loved entertaining and his basement "bar" was his favorite place to gather. He loved playing pool and teaching the game to Karen. He loved big back yard barbeques, playing Jarts, drinking beer, reminiscing and telling stories. He loved hanging out with old friends and making new ones. Bob always wanted people to celebrate life, and when he was diagnosed with liver cancer late last year, he chose to share the news at first only with family and close friends. He was determined to keep spirits light so he and those around him could enjoy his life to the very end. Bob was a special person who will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
