Robert L. Randall

Robert Linden Randall Age 73 October 9, 2005 Beloved husband of Margaret for 43 years. Dear father of Thomas and Sarah (Darren) Hopkins. Dearest brother of Richard and the late William. Also survived by his grandchildren Alexandra and Chloe. Mr. Randall obtained his Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Music Education from Northwestern University in Chicago, Ilinois. He was a member of the Plymouth Symphony for 40 years, playing French Horn, Viola and Violin. and was the Conductor for the Livonia Youth Symphony Society for many years.He taught music in the Livonia Public Schools during the years of 1958 to 1991 when he retired, teaching Band and Orchestra for many years at Frost Junior High School. As a member of St. Andrews Church, he enjoyed singing in the church choir. Jogging 3-4 miles a day, Mr. Randall twice ran in the Detroit Free Press Marathon. One of the things he also enjoyed very much was spending time at his beloved cottage in the UP! There will be a Memorial Service for Mr. Randall at 11:00 Monday October 17, 2005 at St. Andrew Episcopal Church, 16360 Hubbard, Livonia with a Gathering from 10:00 AM until time of the service.
