Robert H. Johnson

Robert Henry Johnson, age 86, passed away on December 21, 2023, survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Sherry Ruth Johnson. Robert was a loving and dedicated father to his four children, Robert, Kevin (Alison), Nikki (Russ), and Michael, and he was the proud grandfather of five grandchildren, Nicklas, Easton, Ava, Alexi, and Henry.

Bob began his life on October 5, 1937 in Laurium, MI, the first-born child of Robert Henry Johnson, Sr. and Ellen Elizabeth Johnson (Snabb). He grew up in the UP and in Detroit with his sister, Jeannette (Boyce), now deceased. Bob was part of the first graduating class of Cody High School. He also served for two years as a US Marine. For over 35 years, Bob worked in many different capacities at Cadillac Motor Company.

A tribute visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Wednesday, January 3 at the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home on 15451 Farmington Road. The formal service will begin at 4 p.m. and a reception will follow.

Memorial Contributions may be directed to American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
