Robert E. Douglas

Robert E. Douglas, Age 81 of Livonia, Michigan, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2015. He is preceded in death by his 8 siblings, son in law, Richard Phillips and wife Sharyn Douglas of 56 years. Robert (Bob) retired from General Motors, enjoyed traveling, camping and was quite the entrepreneur. He eventually developed 2 properties into successful campgrounds of his own where his family spent many memorable summers. He spent 20 years in Florida after retiring and recently returned to Michigan to be close to his family. Robert was a devoted husband and friend who is now reunited with the love of his life. He is survived by his children, Lisa Lauger (Mike), Lori Holloway (Dennis), Roberta (the late Richard) Phillips, Robert Douglas (Sandra) and Susan Douglas and 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
