Robert John Carroll

Robert John Carroll, born July 27, 1943, passed away on February 17, 2025. Robert was a proud Veteran of the United States Coast Guard. He continued his career of public service in the Detroit Police Department, and retired with the rank of Lieutenant, where he had a long distinguised career. Robert leaves behind his children, Bob, Jr., Mike (Kathy), and grandchildren Hannah, Kayla (Harry), Amanda, Jake and Mia. A visitation for Mr. Carroll will be Monday, February 24, 2025, at the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 31551 Ford Road, Garden City, Michigan from 2:00 - 7:00 p.m., with a funeral service at 5:00 p.m. Interment will be at a later date in Northern Michigan.
