Rita Marie Ostin

Rita Marie Ostin, age 66, died after a courageous battle with cancer on April 30, 2016 in Milford, Michigan. Born on January 2, 1950 in Detroit, Michigan, to parents Edith and Joe Kashin, she graduated from Western High School in Detroit, Michigan. Rita retired in 2014 from the 16th District Court in Livonia, Michigan. Rita is survived by her husband, Kenneth A. Ostin Sr., his son Kenneth A. (Becky) Ostin Jr. and daughter Angela George, grandchildren Ethan and Andrew Ostin, her uncle, Eugene (Loretta) Desance and many dear extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother Larry. She enjoyed dancing, golf and traveling. Her family and friends will always remember her as a kind and loving person. Visitation will be held at the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Rd., Livonia on Wednesday, May 4th from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. with a Funeral Service at 7 p.m. Pastor David Johnson from Crossville, Tennessee will officiate.
