Richard C. Rychcik

Richard Clement Rychcik Age 89, of Riverview, Florida, went to his heavenly home on Friday, January 24, 2020. Rich was born on August 27, 1930, in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Stanley Rychcik and Agatha (Dudek) Rychcik. He lived in Detroit during his childhood years. After graduating from Western High School in Detroit he proudly served his country in the United States Army. Rich married the love of his life, Delphine (Dolly) Delores Kuznia on October 25, 1958 at St. Suzanne Catholic Church in Detroit. They enjoyed married life together in Plymouth, Michigan with their beloved children, Cheryl Ann Rychcik (Delaney) and John Joseph Rychcik. Rich retired from Jorgenson Ford (formerly Bielfield Ford) in Detroit, Michigan. He was a proud and skilled auto mechanic by trade. A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend; he loved to share leisurely time making memories with family and friends at home, holiday gatherings, boating trips, bowling, and infrequent trips to the casino. In 2005, Rich moved to Riverview, Florida with his daughter and son-in-law where he enjoyed the last years of his life. Rich is survived by his beloved children, Cheryl Rychcik Delaney and John Joseph Rychcik, son-in-law Russell Thomas Delaney, daughter-in-law Sharon Fullerton Rychcik and beloved granddaughter, Shauna Elizabeth Rychcik and several nieces and nephews. Rich is predeceased by his beloved wife, Delphine (Dolly) and beloved sister Lillian Rychcik Nowicki. Richard's Funeral Service will be held at the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Rd., Livonia, Friday, January 31, 2020, at 11 AM. Visitation will be Thursday from 1 - 8 PM.
