Richard Conrad Doebel

Richard "Dick" Doebel. Age 72, returned to his heavenly home on March 7, 2017. His love of family and friends, and his firm belief in God, comforted him during his life and recent health struggles. Dick leaves behind his wife Diane, son Eric, his dog Lucy, Artie a cherished friend of 71 years, extended family, close friends and beloved neighbors, as well as a vast wardrobe of plaid shirts. Funeral Service Saturday, at 11 a.m. (instate at 10 a.m.) at Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church, 14175 Farmington Rd, Livonia. Visitation Friday from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Rd., Livonia. There will be a sharing service Friday at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Angela Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association.
