Richard Collins

On Thursday, December 9, 2021 Richard Patrick Collins, loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away at age 76. Richard was born October 18, 1945 in Detroit, MI to George and Anne Collins. Richard’s parents moved to Harrisville, MI where Richard and his brother, Robert enjoyed growing up on the shores of Lake Huron. Richard married the love of his life Susan (Sawinski) in 1972 in Detroit where they raised their five daughters, Angela (Dave), Cristie (Kyle), Kelly, Susanne (Zoran), and Cheryl (Paul). Later moving to Livonia. Richard worked as a carpenter and at Ford Motor Company throughout the 70’s and later began his career working as a private investigator and the first employee at Murray and Company beginning in 1980’s until he retired in the late 2000’s. Richard is preceded in death by his beloved wife Susan, father George, mother Anne, and brother Robert, Richard is survived by his daughters and his ten grandchildren.
