Reta Billingsley, age 74, passed away peacefully in Canton, Michigan.

She was born in Gadsden, Alabama, to Willie Frank Watts and Ada Lee Marrow.

Reta was raised in Cleveland, Ohio, where she attended John Adams High School. She later pursued higher education at Schoolcraft College.

She was united in marriage to Preston Billingsley. She raised four children: Jason, Keli, Preston Jr., and Myles (Taylor). She also leaves behind three beloved grandchildren: Xavier, Ada, and Nova.

Reta is survived by her siblings: Michael, Linda Fay, Michele, and Eric. She was preceded in death by her siblings Frank, Gloria, and Che’.

Throughout her career, Reta was dedicated to the field of social work, serving as a Direct Care Worker (DCW).

She was a faithful member of the Catholic Church.

A Visitation will take place at the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Rd., Livonia, Friday, May 2, 2025 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM and at the Our Lady of Loretto Catholic Church, 17116 Olympia , Redford, Saturday from 9:30 until her Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM.
