Raymond W. Cox

Ray Cox (82) of Northville, MI passed away on January 31,2023. Ray was born on February 2, 1940 to Raymond and Mary Louise Cox. Oldest of 5 boys, Jim (Barb), Frank (Sue), Don (Sandy) and Dennis. He graduated from High School in 1958. He went on to study accounting at Wayne State University and subsequently completed his education by becoming a C.P.A. For most of his working life, he was self-employed as a Certified Public Accountant. In 1964 Ray married Judith A. Cox (Eggan), celebrating their 58th anniversary last year, and went on to have 2 children, David (Andrea) and Brian (Jodilyn). Ray was also the proud grandfather to Emily, Ashley, Jacob, Brandon (Kerri), Ryan, Andrew and Nathan. Great grandfather to Elijah and Theo (Brandon/Kerri). For many years, Ray was an avid boater and pilot…who always found a reason to wear khaki’s and a polo/dress shirt for every occasion. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Rd, Livonia, MI 48154 at 11:00 AM with a visitation from 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM.
