Philip Louis Borges

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Philip Louis Borges, beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, who left us on April 25, 2025, at the age of 63. Born on November 8, 1961, to Richard and Mary Rose Borges.

He was the proud and loving father of Colleen, Valerie, and Laura Borges, and the adoring grandfather of Jordan, Michael, and Clara Borges. He was a cherished brother to Rick (Kay) Borges, Ron (the late Debbie) Borges, Diane (Ron) Mlot, John Borges, and Dan (Bill) Borges. He was also a devoted uncle to Tina, Tanya, Carol, Elizabeth, Angela, Lisa, Heather, Ricky, and Eric.

A true lover of the outdoors, he found his greatest joy in nature—especially fishing and walking in the woods surrounded by his family. Kensington Park held a special place in his heart and was a favorite place for him to find peace and connect with those he loved most.

His warmth, humor, and generous spirit made him a friend to so many. He touched countless lives with his kind heart and unwavering love for his children and grandchildren, who were the light of his life.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A visitation will be held at the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Rd., Livonia, Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 11am-1pm until his Memorial Service at 1:00 PM.
