Pearle W. Smith

Pearl Winston Smith Age 95-called home to be with her Lord on October 20, 2007. An avid Bible scholar, retired teacher with the Dearborn Public Schools, former officer of Alpha Delta Kappa-the professional teacher’s sorority, Pearle was a native of Tennessee who moved to Michigan in the mid-1930’s with her family. She received her B.S. and M.S. in Education from Wayne State University. Beloved wife of the late Raymond J. Smith, Pearle leaves behind a son Jerry (Sharon) Smith of Livonia and a daughter Sylvia (the late Robert) Kyle of Waterford, six grandchildren and eight great- grandchildren. Visitation will be at the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Rd, Livonia, Tuesday, October 23 from 2:00 to 6:00 P.M.
