Paul Hatton, Sr., age 84, formerly of Garden City, Michigan, passed from this life on May 1, 2018. Paul was a commercial artist known throughout the car world as “Hatton, Who Else?” His career lasted well over 50 years and his work is imitated by many. He was born November 12, 1933, in Richmond, Kentucky and moved to Michigan at the age of eight. Paul married Barbara Wilson on April 12, 1954, and they remained married until her death in 2010. They are survived by four children: Paul, Jr. (Nancy) Hatton, Rhonda Whitlow, Julie (George) Wilkinson, and Brian (Emily) Hatton; seven grandchildren, Paul, III (Heather) Hatton, Emily (Jesse) Hanks, Melissa (Matt) Whitlow, Michele Whitlow, Valerie (Steve) Gleason, Eric (Kat) Wilkinson and Jamee (Alan) McCannon; and seven great-grandchildren, Evangeline, Zoey and Josephine Gleason, Reid and Rylan Hanks, Madelyn Hatton and Marianne McCannon. Paul was preceded in death by Barbara, his parents, Leslie and Jessie Hatton and his sister, Geraldine Trail. Visitation will be held at the RG & GR Harris Funeral Home, 31551 Ford Rd., Garden City, on Friday, May 4, 2018, from 2pm until 8pm. He will be laid to rest at Cadillac Memorial Gardens West in a private ceremony. In lieu of flowers, donations to either the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition or the Alzheimer’s Association of Michigan are appreciated.
