Patricia Hartunian

Patricia Hartunian passed away on June 11th, 2021 in Phoenix, Arizona. The daughter of Dale and Shirley Green, she was born in Detroit on December 10th, 1955. Patti graduated from Melvindale High School in 1974 where she met her future husband, Mark Hartunian. They married in 1977 and had two children, Matthew and Amelia. Patti was a devoted, caring wife and the most wonderful mother any child could ask for. She was blessed with the birth of 4 Grandchildren: Colton, Reese, Chloe and Errol. They quickly became the joy of her life in her later years. After high school she went on to college at Grace Hospital School of Nursing and the University of Detroit. After graduating she became an NICU nurse for the next 35 years until retiring in 2015. A devoted and caring employee, that looked after every baby as if it was her own. She had an incredible work ethic and always had an abundance of energy. In her leisure time Patti enjoyed the outdoors, especially biking, boating and swimming. She also loved to travel with Mark. At home, baking and sewing were two things she loved to do as well as maintaining the household. Patricia Hartunian will be remembered by her loved ones as one of the most generous and caring people they’ve ever known.
