Olive Meier

Olive Meier, Age 97. January 10, 2005. Loving daughter of the late Michael and Mathilda. Dear sister of Elizabeth June Meier, Nina Meier Hyde Kaufman and the late Michael and Helen Meier. Dearest aunt of Judith Nina Hyde (Stanley)Stinik and Susan Michaela Hyde. Also survived by two great nieces, one great nephew and two great-great nephews. Olive graduated from Bethel Lutheran Elementary School then went on to obtain a teaching certificate in music from Eastern Michigan. She began teaching in Dearborn Township and became principal of Tomlinson Elementary School. She then earned her Master's Degree from Wayne State University. She was a charter member of Guardian Lutheran Church, being the church organist for many years, she also was a member of the Dearborn Garden Club, organ society. A memorial service will take place at Guardian Lutheran Church on Saturday, Jan. 15 at 11:00 A.M. the Church is located at 24544 Cherry Hill Rd., Dearborn.
