Ola Beaman McDougall Age 93 of Richmond, Virginia, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Tuesday, December 21, 2010. Born in 1917 she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 70 years, John McDougall and by her brother, James Beaman. She is survived by her son John and daughter-in law Debra and two grandchildren, Lucy Anne McDougall and Audie Rae McDougall; as well as two sisters, Josephine Chatham and Dorothy Anderson. Born in Murray, KY, Mrs. McDougall moved to Detroit as a young girl, met her husband to be, John, and became a lifelong member of Highland Park Baptist Church. In 1997, Ola and her husband John moved to Cedarfield in Richmond, Virginia, where they became Members of Second Baptist Church. Ola lived a full and blessed life, traveling extensively around the World with her husband John. Her family who loves her dearly wishes to thank all the staff and care givers at Cedarfield for their amazing support and care of Ola. The family is especially grateful to the staff, nurses and private duty personnel in the Healthcare department of Cedarfield where Mrs. McDougall resided for the past year. Visitation Thursday 4-9 p.m., December 23, 2010, at the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home in Livonia, Michigan. Funeral Service Friday 11 a.m. Interment taking place at Oakview Cemetery in Royal Oak.
