Michael Abarius

Michael "Mykolas" Abarius, of Ann Arbor, formerly of Livonia, age 96, died peacefully on February 11, 2022. Beloved husband of Anna for 69 years. Loving father of Violeta (Sal) Viviano, Alma (Ed) Sventickas, Paulita (Linas) Alinskas and Michael G. (Laura) Abarius. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Mykolas was a Illustrator and Designer at Ford Motor Co. for 27 years. He was a U.S. Army Korean Conflict Veteran and was very active in the Lithuanian Community. He was a Stone Mason and builder of monuments. Mykolas will be instate at Divine Providence Lithuanian Catholic Church, 25225 W. 9 Mile Rd., Southfield, Wednesday, February 16, 2022 from 9:30 am until his Funeral Service at 11 am with a 10:30 am Rosary Service. The family requests donations be made to Divine Providence Lithuanian Catholic Church as a mass for the deceased, Pilėnai, or to Šauliai in Lithuania (see family about how to donate).
