Mervin A.Stringer Age 91. Went to be with his Lord and Savior January 15, 2010. Beloved husband of Loretta. Loving father of Mervin A. "Bud" (Lyn), Mary Grace "Meg" Boyd, Michael (Joyce) McGowan and the late Barbara Polkinghorn. Dear brother of Harold (Natalie). Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Mervin was a WWII Veteran and a retiree of Michigan Bell Telephone Company after 45 years. Visitation at the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Rd., Livonia, Tuesday from 3 - 8 p.m. Instate at Ward Presbyterian Church, 40000 West Six Mile Rd., Northville, Wednesday from 10:30 until funeral service at 11 a.m. Memorial contributions may be directed to Ward Presbyterian Church-Deacon's Fund or The American Cancer Society.
