Melvin Johnson

Melvin F. Johnson, Age 81. June 13, 2023 of Belleville.

Beloved husband of the late Mary Lou.  Loving father of Karen Taylor and Linda (Jay) Thompson.  Dear grandfather of Jason (Krissy) Taylor, Joseph Taylor and Jacob (Kristen) Thompson.  Brother of Mary Johnson, Pat Collier and Jean Crabtree. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.

Melvin was a master gardener and wine maker.  As far as sports, Melvin loved golfing and even bowled a 300 game during his bowling career.  He loved traveling with his wife.  His daughters said he loved to tinker with things and was the ultimate do-it-yourselfer.

Melvin will be greatly missed.
