Maxine Hytinen

Maxine Virginia Hytinen, 93, of Las Vegas, passed away August 31, 2010. She was born September 6, 1919 in Detroit, Michigan to Frederick and Vina Schrader. After losing her mother at a young age, Maxine took care of her father's needs during her teens. During World II, she helped the war effort by working at the Ford plant in Dearborn, MI. Family ment everything to Maxine. Maxine is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Nichosas Hytinen; her daughters Vina Fox and Karen E. Salerno and her son, Larry McCormick. She is survived by her sons, Nicholas F. Hytinen and Wallace J. Hytinen; her daughters, Janet M. Clore and Diana L. Hulkkonen; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, September 6, 2010 from 3-9pm. at the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 31551 Ford Road, Garden City, MI. Funeral service Tuesday 10:00am. at the funeral home. Graveside services will be at Oakview Cemetery, 1032 N. Main Street, Royal Oak, MI.
