Mary Louise Ranson

Mary Louise Burger Ranson 1936-2018 Mary was born in Miami, Florida to Fred and Harriet Burger on June 2, 1936. Mary is survived by five children; Michael Ranson, Gerald Ranson, Kenneth Ranson, Donna Ranson, and Samantha Kretzschmar, five grandchildren; Nikki, Michelle, Max, Jack, and Scott as well as a great grandson William. Mary is also survived by a sister, Margaret Dowd and dear friend Ann Johnson. Mary was preceded by two sons; Richard and Robert. For many years Mary was a printer and proofreader for newspapers, including the Miami Herald, Chicago Tribune, Tampa Tribune, and the Detroit Free Press. Mary later joined the Kroger Company and retired after several years of service there. Mary enjoyed reading, writing, and astrology. She looked forward to family gatherings and took pleasure and pride in cooking intricate holiday meals. She will be missed by all Visitation at the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Rd., Livonia Sunday, December 30, 2108 from 10 am until her Memorial Service at 1 pm. Please share a memory of Mary on her tribute wall.
