Mary Ellen Piergentili

Mary Ellen Piergentili, of Livonia, age 87, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2024.

Beloved wife of Agostino Piergentili.  Loving mother of Dan (Erika) Piergentili, Brian (Danielle) Piergentili, Gina (Scot) Fennell and Diana (Brian) O'Keefe.  Dear grandmother of Niko, Emerson, Josie, Gabriella, Addison, Carley, Spencer, Andy and Cooper.  Sister of Joseph (the late Pat) Heavener, Paul (the late Pat) Heavener and the late Joan (Bud) Bungay.  Mary is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Mary graduated from St. Cecelia High School in Detroit.  She went to work as a secretary at Ford Motor Company before getting married.  Once the children came along she became a stay-at-home mom.  Mary enjoyed traveling, having parties, “Friday nighters,” playing poker with friends and entertaining her grandkids.

A visitation will be held at R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Rd., Livonia, Friday, March 15, 2024 from 2:00 - 8:00 PM. Instate at St Edith Catholic Church, 15089 Newburgh Rd., Livonia Saturday, March 16, 2024 from 10:00 AM until her Funeral Service at 10:30 AM.
