With profound sadness, we announce the passing of MaryAnn McDonald Morgan who left this world at the age of 83. Her greatest happiness was found in her family, and her home was always filled with laughter, warmth, and togetherness.
For 61 beautiful years, she was the cherished wife of James Morgan and together they built a life centered on faith, family, and unwavering love. Mary had a deep love for Elvis Presley, and his music brought her joy throughout her life. She was rarely without a glass of sweet iced tea in hand, a simple comfort she enjoyed no matter the season. Christmas was her favorite time of year—her enthusiasm for the holidays was unmatched, and her home sparkled with decorations, magic of the season and traditions still carried on by her family.
Her strength, kindness, and sense of humor left a mark on everyone who knew her. She had a special way of making people feel welcome, whether they were family or strangers, and her warm smile was a source of comfort to all.
She is survived by her loving husband James, eight children, twenty-one grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and countless friends and family who were blessed to know her. While she may no longer be with us, her love and spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
A private memorial will be held at a later date to honor her life and the profound impact she had on all of us.
Rest in peace, MaryAnn. You will forever be our shining light.
