Mary Ann Brindley, 88, of Ocala, Florida and Allen Park, Michigan peacefully passed away on November 25, 2012. A Memorial Service will be held December 26, 2012 at the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Rd., Livonia, Michigan with visitation from 10:00 am - 11:00 a.m. and a Memorial Service from 11:00 am - 12:00 p.m. Guests are invited to join the family for lunch after the ceremony. Interment of her ashes at Michigan Memorial Park will follow lunch for immediate family members only. Mary was born on August 9, 1924 in Detroit, Michigan. She grew up in Dearborn, Michigan and graduated from Fordson High School. After graduation she worked at Ford Motor Company through the end of WWII. She met Curtis Brindley while at Ford Motor and they were married in 1948 until Curt's passing in 2005. After marriage, Mary was a full time homemaker and mother to their three children, Marsha (Shilling), Bill and Jeff. Throughout her life she was known for her love for and great interest in people, her ability to listen and ability to see the humor in all situations. Mary is survived and missed by her three children, Marsha, Bill and Jeff, 6 grandchildren, Adam Shilling, Kyle Brindley, Dan Brindley, Amanda Brindley, Emily Brindley and Mitchell Brindley, and 2 great-grand children, Bradley and Christopher Shilling. Mary was preceded in death by her parents John and Anna Janki, and her brothers Leslie and John Janki. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Salvation Army, 615 Slater Lane, P.O.
