Mary Ann Hammons

Mary Ann Hammons, 61, of Garden City, Michigan, passed away Friday, September 28, 2018 after a very long, brave battle with cancer. Born March 21, 1957 in Saginaw, Michigan, she was the daughter of Vincent Edward Zaborowski and Bernice Eleanor Zaborowski. She is survived by both her parents Vincent and Bernice; her husband of 29 years, Billy Ray Hammons; three sons Robert Sarna, Jonathan (Tamandra) Sarna, and Christian (Megan) Hammons; loving grandmother of Jacob, Katelynn, Kalena, Lexi, Shane, Summer, Skylar, Myles, and another grandchild due in April. She is also survived by two sisters: Marsha (Dennis) Mischka and Marilyn Walton; and many dear nieces and nephews. She was a kind, beautiful soul and always put others first. She cherished her relationships with everybody. She was the life of a party with the most contagious laugh. She will be deeply missed by family and friends. Visitation will be Friday, October 5, 2018 from 2-9 pm. Memorial service will be held Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 10:30 A.M. with a funeral procession to St. Hedwig Cemetery immediately following.
